A Picture is worth 1000 words

Look at the image above. At first it just looks like an MC Escher fake, but if you look close you will see that there is a message being told in this picture. The title of the piece is “Cultural Genocide”.

Visual art can be a powerful means of communication. One of the most efficient ways to transmit complete thoughts, emotions, and attitudes from one person to another is through the use of images.

New Halloween Photos

This Halloween I painted my face and the faces of a couple of my friends to look like skulls. I bought me an old suit from Good Will and went out for a night on the town. Before taking off our makeup we went down to my basement for a Slipknot style photo shoot. It turned out unbelievably creepy. Almost disturbing. See them now!

Hazardous Waste Commercial

fish The city of Athens TN recently commission me to do a Jib-Jab style commercial for their House-Hold Hazardous Waste Collection which is held once a year at a local high school.

The commercial (starring Mayor Proffit, and Mayor Gentry, and my self) was a huge success and helped raise the attendance 63% from the previous year’s event. Read more and watch the Household Hazardous Waste Commercial

PBS Music Web Site Launches

PBS Cover Song Writer and School Admin-istrator Scott Perry, has just released a new Kids album that focuses on Positive Behavior Support. Scott (who just so happens to be my Dad) hired me to do his cover art and build his website.

The web site has several special features that I am proud of; including an educational game which I created called “Voice Sounds” that teaches elementary aged kids how to control the volume of their voice in class. See it all at PBSmusic.com.
